Minimalist Cycling Jerseys
Four cuts to match your cycling jersey to your riding style:
- Race Fit: The tightest, cut purely for speed. Nothing flaps, everything fits. The Race Fit is only available in the Pro Line.
- Aero Fit: Tight, but suitable for everyday use. Barely noticeable and like a second skin, for fast rides.
- Relaxed Fit: A bit more room, yet close-fitting. For long days in the saddle and relaxed rides.
- Loose Fit: Loosely cut with plenty of freedom of movement without constriction. Our gravel cut for rough trails and long tours off-road

The right cycling jersey for any temperature
- Above 25 °C: The Aerlig Ultralight with mesh, as airy as possible.

If it gets colder, add a vest or jacket. Find out more in Cycling Jackets & Vests.

Essentials or Pro Line: Which cycling jersey is right for you?
The difference is the Coolmax material: It wicks sweat away from the skin faster and keeps you dry during high exertion. The Race Fit, our tightest cut, is also only available in the Pro Line. The craftsmanship is the same for both.

Frequently asked questions about cycling jerseys
That depends on two things: your riding style and the temperature. If you ride fast and sporty, choose the Aero Fit or the Pro Line in Race Fit. For relaxed tours, the Relaxed Fit is suitable, for graveling, the Loose Fit. Then the temperature decides: above 25 °C the Ultralight with mesh, from 17 °C the short-sleeve jerseys, below that the long sleeves. This way, you'll find the right jersey in two steps.
Closer to the body than you're used to from a T-shirt, without being restrictive. When riding, the fabric should lie flat against your body and nothing should flap in the wind. When standing, an Aero Fit or Race Fit may feel tight at first; this is intentional. If you prefer more room, the Relaxed Fit is for you. When in doubt, our size chart will help you choose.
The difference is the Coolmax material: it wicks sweat away from the skin faster and keeps you dry during high exertion. Additionally, the Race Fit, our tightest cut, is only available in the Pro Line – tighter than the Aero Fit. The workmanship is the same for both. If you want Coolmax for intense rides or the tightest fit, choose the Pro Line.
As a rule of thumb: above 25°C an ultralight mesh jersey, between 17 and 25°C a classic short-sleeved jersey, between 10 and 17°C a long-sleeved jersey, and between 8 and 15°C a brushed thermal long-sleeved jersey. Below that, you layer up: vest or jacket over the jersey, depending on wind and weather.
Yes, without restriction. The difference is not in the bike, but in the cut: on a gravel bike, you usually sit more upright and ride for longer, which is why many opt for the Relaxed Fit (Kaern) or the Loose Fit (Aexplore). Anyone who rides sporty on gravel will be just as well served with the Aero Fit (Aerlig).
Because you don't want a backpack on your road bike. The back pockets carry everything you need for your ride: energy bars, pump, wind vest, phone. They are deliberately placed at the back, where they won't interfere with your riding position and won't sag even when fully loaded.
Then our crash replacement guarantee applies: You contact us and we take care of a replacement. Crashing is part of cycling and shouldn't hit you twice.
