Short, long or with pockets
Choose your cycling shorts according to the temperature:
- Above 15 °C you ride bib shorts with a short leg.
- Below 14 °C that becomes a Bib Tight with a full-length leg.
- Below 10 °C one with thermal fabric, such as the Winter Thermal Bib Tight (for Men and Women).
If you want to stow bars, keys and a phone, go for a cargo version. And if straps are not for you, there are the Aero Shorts without. This category needs no more choice than that, and that is deliberate.

No. The chamois sits directly against the skin; otherwise the seams of your underwear chafe exactly where the chamois is meant to protect you. Wash your cycling shorts after every ride.
The straps hold the shorts in place without a waistband pressing on your stomach. That is why almost all straede cycling shorts are Bib Shorts. If straps bother you or you need to get out of them quickly along the way, the Aero Shorts come without.
straede chamois use memory foam, not gel. Foam absorbs impacts and returns to its shape afterwards, while gel tends to shift on longer rides and harden in one spot. On top of that, our models use an antibacterial honeycomb design that takes up moisture.
Up to four to six hours, the ergonomic chamois of the Aero and Cargo Bib Shorts is enough. If you regularly spend longer in the saddle, choose a model with the endurance chamois by Elastic Interface: it is multi-layered and built for rides of more than six hours.
"Bib" refers to the straps. A pair of bib shorts is therefore cycling shorts with straps. In the shop we list them as Bib Shorts.
