Why should I wear several layers in summer?
As with cool weather, the base layer is the first layer that is worn directly on the skin. In warmer temperatures, it should be made of a thin and breathable material that effectively wicks away sweat and allows for quick drying. This keeps the body pleasantly cool and dry. You should ensure a snug fit to avoid unnecessary rubbing or chafing.
The second layer
For the second layer, you should choose a short-sleeved jersey that is made of breathable materials. Here too, it is important that the jersey has a good fit to ensure optimal ventilation and freedom of movement.
It is your individual preference as to whether your cycling jersey is more snug or offers you a little more freedom of movement.
Kaern jersey - not skin-tight, relaxed fit
Choose our Kaern jersey if you prefer a slightly looser fit. The Kaern jersey offers you leeway, but is still cut close to the body. In addition, it has a slightly longer back section. In short, our Kaern jersey is suitable for you if you just want to feel comfortable on the bike and your jersey doesn't have to be skin-tight.
Particularly suitable for racing bikes, gravel riding and commuting.

Aerlig Jersey - Tight racing fit
Choose our aero jersey if you want a close-fitting, aerodynamic racing fit. An aerodynamic cut means that the jersey should not flap anywhere on the body while riding. The Aerlig jersey also has a racing fit. This means that the front section is cut significantly shorter to give you the best possible fit in a racing-like seating position (e.g. in the lower handlebar position). Our aero jersey weighs only 100g and is therefore light as a feather on the skin and can hardly be felt.
Particularly suitable for road cycling.
Cycling shorts for summer
Short cycling shorts are standard equipment for road cyclists in summer. They offer you freedom of movement and breathability and are usually made of light, quick-drying material. The cut should be snug to avoid friction, but still provide enough flexibility.
What's special about cycling shorts?
Cycling shorts have a sewn-in seat pad so you can sit comfortably in the saddle for several hours. The perfect fit of cycling shorts depends on the interaction of the individual skin type, the shape of the saddle, the sitting position and of course the seat padding. Our seat cushions are made of multi-layered, soft foams that are finished with a breathable surface. Cycling shorts are worn directly on the skin without underwear. This will help you avoid unpleasant pressure points and friction. Our pads are antibacterial and sweat-wicking and therefore protect your skin.
Aero Bib Shorts - seamless cuffs without slipping
Our Aero Bib Shorts are characterized by their seamless finish, especially at the leg cuffs. Thanks to an internal rubber coating on the leg ends, the bib shorts stay firmly in place at all times. The very soft fabric feels like a second skin and offers ideal compression for many hours on the bike.
The Aero Bib Shorts are ideal for you if you:
- Love seamless, minimalist design
- Prefer longer leg cuffs
- Travel quickly on the road with your racing bike
If you are looking for aero cycling shorts, but would rather have cycling shorts without straps (e.g. pee-friendly for women), then we recommend our aero shorts ( Aero Shorts Women , Aero Shorts Men ).
Cargo Bib Shorts - practical side pockets for extra storage space
Our Cargo Bib Shorts are suitable for all your cycling adventures and have two practical side pockets with plenty of storage space for your cell phone, tools and snacks.
The Cargo Bib Shorts are ideal for you if you:
- You're on your road bike, gravel bike or as a commuter and are looking for side pockets with extra storage space
- Multi-layer seat padding for high loads and several hours of riding comfort
The third layer
In unpredictable weather conditions, it is recommended to take a light wind vest or windbreaker with you. This layer protects the body from wind and rain and ensures that you stay dry and warm even in bad weather. A jacket with a breathable back panel will help regulate moisture.
You can store our wind vests and windbreakers small and easily store them in the back pockets of your jersey.
